Upon signing up, Tutorpeers automatically sets your timezone based on your device settings. In most cases, this will be accurate, but it's always good to double-check.
You can access your timezone settings on the Settings page. Click on your profile and select it from the drop-down list.
Here, you can select your timezone from a dropdown list or start typing to locate your region if your time zone is incorrect.
Tutorpeers allows you to book tutors from around the world, making time zone management essential. The platform automatically displays the correct time for you and for your tutor.
For instance, if you are in Kolkata and book a tutor from New York, available tutor time slots will be shown in Kolkata time.
This automatic calculation ensures you are booking sessions at the correct time for your location.
Tutors will also see sessions in their own timezone, ensuring everyone is in sync.
This prevents missed sessions, clarifies availability schedules, and ensures timely notifications for upcoming lessons.
When you navigate to your session tab, the start time of your booked lessons will be displayed in your time zone, regardless of whether you're a student or a tutor.
