If your child encounters technical difficulties with the camera, microphone, or speakers on Tutorpeers, there could be multiple causes. Here's a simplified guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve these issues.
Permission for Devices
Check your browser settings to ensure it has permission to access your camera, microphone, and speakers.
We will notify you if a different application is using your devices or if you need to give the browser permission to use the device.
Steps to Allow Device Access
In most cases, the browser will show a pop-up asking for permission to use your device. Usually, it's shown on the right side of the search bar.
If you accidentally denied access, simply click the icon on the right side of the browser's search bar and click the manage button. In the same settings, you can choose the devices that are selected for use.
Ensure a Stable Internet Connection
A fast and stable internet connection is crucial for using Tutorpeers effectively.
- Reboot Your Device: Sometimes, a simple reboot of your computer or mobile device can resolve connectivity issues.
- Restart Your Wi-Fi Router: Turning off your router for 30 seconds and then turning it back on can fix many internet problems.
- Use Mobile Internet: If your home internet is down, you can use your smartphone's mobile data as a hotspot for a temporary solution.
Troubleshooting Tips
Confirm that your devices are correctly connected and recognized by your computer. Open the Demo session to test your devices before any Tutorpeers activity to ensure they work correctly.
